Hello all, and welcome! I’m glad you stopped by to take a wander through my website.

I can’t remember when I started drawing, but it was probably as soon as I could hold an oversized crayon in my hand. If my mother needed to keep me quiet, she knew she could spread a length of shelf paper on the dining room table, give me some crayons, and she’d have at least an hour to herself. I don’t have much formal training, but did get a lot of practice doodling on the margins of my school notebooks and book covers. Much of my current styles I can attribute to this kind of daydreaming with pen.

Not too long ago, I saw several of my drawings as greeting cards, and realized this was a good medium to share my vision, sense of humor, and sense of wonder with the world. I think it’s a good start, and hope to expand the canvas soon.

What are my inspirations? Anything colorful – including visual color, colorful language, feeling, or situations. I come across them everyday, they appear from my memories, and they constantly wander through my mind. What I have posted is only a small sample, but I will continue to share my images as they manifest!

I am currently living in Southern California, and loving the sunshine, but not the traffic. Consequently I do enjoy when I can stay home to draw!
