Repair please!

Just when you thought it was safe… there are always strings attached when you have pets. This is my first submission to IF for about a year and a half! It’s good to be back, and I hope I can manage to keep it up regularly, if not every week. Has anyone ever been on the receiving end of that “locked-on-prey” look that cats get? It’s pretty freaky!

I know I’ve been talking about this book for months, and it looks like publishing is a little while off yet, so I’m posting a couple of the illustrations here for your perusal. You can click on the images to see them a little larger. I won’t give anything away about the book yet, since I don’t want to steal its thunder , but I’m delighted to be able to share some of what I’ve been doing!
